Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to agricultural engineering, in particular to devices for transporting and cleaning root and tuberous crops that can be used in potato harvesters. The method of transporting and cleaning root and tuberous crops includes the operations of transporting a heap of root and tuberous crops, interaction of root and tuberous crops with a cleaning working body and unloading. During the general cleaning, the bodies of root and tuberous crops are individually captured, clamped, pulled through the cleaning surfaces and directed to the arc-shaped reflector, while simultaneously providing additional cleaning forces for each body from both sides by means of a drive arm with two ends mounted coaxially with the cleaning working body, made in the form of a drive bar cleaning brush and drive brushes having a smaller diameter and a shorter length of elastic rods than the diameter and length of the elastic rods of the drive bar cleaning brush, while the drive brushes are located at both ends of the drive arm, made to ensure intensive rotation of the bodies of root and tuberous crops around their own axes. The device for transportation and cleaning of root and tuberous crops includes a main frame, a feed conveyor, above the outlet end of which, with an appropriate gap, a cleaning working body and an unloading conveyor are installed. Co-axially with the cleaning working body, made in the form of a driven rod cleaning brush, a drive arm with two ends is installed, on which individual slingshot-shaped grippers of root and tuberous vegetable bodies are fixed, at the outer ends of which drive brushes are located, having a smaller diameter and a shorter length of elastic rods than the diameter and length of elastic rods of the driven rod cleaning brush. At the same time, the drive brushes located at the outer ends of the slingshot shape are made with the ability to rotate in one direction, and opposite the drive bar cleaning brush on the main frame there is an arc-shaped reflector, the upper end of which is mounted in a hinge, and the lower end is connected to a mechanism for changing and fixing its position relative to the main frame. Moreover, the drive bar cleaning brush and the drive arm with two ends are made with the ability to rotate in the same direction. The use of this method for transporting and cleaning root and tuberous vegetables and the device for its implementation will increase the efficiency of cleaning root and tuberous vegetables from impurit
