Zusammenfassung:The method for treating the stump of the bronchus after pulmonectomy comprises sewing the bronchus and its pleurization. The optimal cover of the suture line and the edge of the dissected principal bronchus is provided. With this aim, upon sewing the principal bronchus with the sewing apparatus, thebronchus is sewed by the separate synthetic threads 1-2 mm proximal to the line of tantalum sutures, the sutures are not tied up. The pleural flap with the feeding peduncle is tailored and sewed on the side of pleura with the untied synthetic threads applied to the stump of the bronchus. Then the synthetic threads are tied up. The sites of entry and exit of the threads as well as the line of the tantalum suture and the edge of the dissected bronchus are wrapped tightly by the pleural flap.
