Zusammenfassung: | A method for the electrochemical regeneration of ion exchange resins of nuclear power plants involves passing of concentrated nitric acid solution through cation exchange filters with preset rate for the predetermined time with preparation of acid radioactive regeneration solution, passing of washing solution through cation exchange filter with preset rate for the predetermined time with the preparation of acid radioactive washing solution, passing of concentrated sodium hydroxide solution through anion exchanger with preset rate for the predetermined time with preparation of alkaline regeneration solution and passing of washing water through anion exchanger with preset rate for the predetermined time with preparation of alkaline radioactive washing solution. Acid and alkaline regeneration and washing solutions are mixed, and mixture is accumulated in given amount in separate container, hydrogen ion exponent of accumulated mixture of acid and alkaline regeneration and washing solutions is brought by alkali liquor or acid solution to pH values within interval of 6.5 ... 7.5, preferably 6.8 ... 7.2, and neutralized mixture of regeneration and washing solutions is crystallized with the preparation of crystalline product and radioactive residue as mixture of mother and washing off solutions with given level of specific activity. Obtained radioactive residue with given level of specific activity is fed for further processing, and crystalline product prepared is dissolved in the mixture of lean solution thereof with distillate till preparing concentrated solution. Concentrated solution is subjected to electrochemical decomposition in double-diaphragm three-chamber cell with the preparation of acid solution in the anode chamber, alkali liquor in cathode chamber and lean solution in intermembrane chamber. Prepared acid and alkali solutions are evaporated up to preset concentration and used for further regeneration of ion exchange resins of nuclear power plants, and distillate prepared at evaporation is fed for dissolution of crystalline product prepared in the process of crystallization.
