PLANT FOR THE PREPARATION OF SILICON POWDER

The invention relates to electrohydropulse breakage of metallurgical silicon - for the preparation of high purity silicon powder. A plant for the preparation of silicon powder is declared, containing cylindrical discharge chamber, equipped with batch hopper, classifier and electrode, connected with surge-current generator, and device for transportation of basic material from discharge chamber, and also the plant is equipped with carrousel with possibility of turnover in horizontal plane and movement in vertical plane and has mounted radially connecting rods with case for transportation of silicon powder, classifier bowl with perforated cylindrical surface, fixed at an angle to horizontal plane, settling tank and mounted successively around a circle under cases with silicon powder bearing table, container for chemical treatment, capacities for washing, device for drying and device for discharge, and classifier of discharge chamber is made in a form of mounted with gap relative to each other vertical plates, placed along the perimeter square inscribed to the circle of inner diameter of discharge chamber, and as device for transportation of powder from discharge chamber a system of hydrotransportation with ejector pump is used. The declared plant allows carrying out the treatment of silicon powder from erosion products of electrodes and discharge chamber and according to them obtaining of pure silicon powder.
