Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to cleaning inner surfaces of rail cars from stuck or frozen bulk materials and can be used for bottom discharge of the hopper cars and gondola cars, and when cleaning the inner surfaces of the rail cars from stuck or frozen bulk material the side walls are conditionally divided into sections, which include at least two adjacent racks with adjacent elements of car lining, and single mechanical pulses are used to act on the areas of side walls of car through at least one horizontally oriented intermediate element pressed against the racks of at least one section in the form of a beam of a length sufficient for this intermediate element to be pressed against end racks of appropriate section. In the embodiments of the method: horizontally oriented intermediate elements are pressed against the racks of at least one pair of facing each other sections of both side walls of car, and single mechanical pulses simultaneously act on the intermediate elements; the horizontally oriented intermediate elements are simultaneously pressed to the racks of all sections of one of side walls of car and act by single mechanical pulses on all intermediate elements sequentially or simultaneously; the horizontally oriented intermediate elements are simultaneously pressed against the racks of all parts of one and second side walls of car and act by single mechanical pulses on all intermediate elements sequentially or simultaneously; acting by single mechanical pulses synchronously on horizontally oriented intermediate elements pressed against the racks of individual pairs of sections facing each other of both side walls of car the pairs of sections facing each other are subject to sequential action. The horizontally oriented intermediate elements can be pressed to the racks of car at levels that range from the lower to the upper longitudinal side beams of car. The method takes into account the design of cars and unloading conditions, allows for efficient and fast removal of stuck or frozen bulk material regardless of the condition of the walls of cars, physical properties of loaded material, and without breaking the car design.
