Configurable and adjustable video conferencing apparatus

In some embodiments, a hub (a processor configured to perform video processing and optionally also other processing) and a camera mount configured to support a video camera. The camera mount and hub are detachably mountable with respect to each other (e.g., detachable from each other by manually releasing a spring-biased latch) in any of at least two different configurations, preferably with adjustability in at least one configuration. In some embodiments, the camera mount includes a first structure including a retainer and camera support, a slide translatably mounted to the first structure, and a foot having a first end pivotably attached to the slide. The retainer is shaped to engage a surface of an object (e.g., the hub or a monitor) to which the camera mount is to be mounted. Other aspects are a camera mount (with a video camera or element thereof and a hub mounted thereto), and a camera mount alone.
