Current-balancing driving and protecting apparatus for LED lamps

A current-balancing driving and protecting apparatus for LED lamp comprising an AC power source, at least an abnormal signal detecting unit and a protecting circuit is provided. The AC power source generates AC voltage. Each of the abnormal signal detecting unit has a current-balancing transformer circuit, a rectifier circuit and a detecting circuit. The current-balancing transformer circuit is used to transfer the AC voltage to an AC signal. The rectifier circuit is used to transfer the AC signal to a DC signal for driving at least one LED lamp string. The detecting circuit outputs an abnormal signal according to the change of the AC signal. The protecting circuit outputs a protecting signal according the abnormal signal.
