Zusammenfassung:	An edge-type backlight module having a frame, a light bar, and a back plate. The frame includes a side bar, a first extension part, and at least an indentation portion disposed in the first extension part. The light bar includes a substrate, a plurality of light emitting devices, and at least a protrusion extended from a side of the substrate. The light bar is set in the back light module by means of inserting the protrusion into the indentation portion of the frame.
