Zusammenfassung:	A projectile firing apparatus (10) has a projectile cannon mounted in a body housing such that the cannon moves from a stored position to a deployed position when an operating trigger is activated. The firing ram of the projectile firing apparatus is coupled to a drive motor. A projectile retaining flap within the cannon can be moved between the retaining and release positions based on the biasing of a spring. The projectile shooting toy helicopter (12) includes the drive motor which is supported in the body housing (20). A control circuit is coupled to an operating trigger and the driver motor to active the operation of the drive motor when the operating trigger is operated and moved to a predetermined position.
