A connector 10 according to the present disclosure comprises: an insulator 20 having an insertion part 23 into which an object 70 to be connected is inserted; a plurality of contacts 30 that are mounted to the insulator 20 and have mounting parts mounted to a circuit board CB; a first metal member 50 mounted to the insulator 20; and a second metal member 60 mounted to at least one of the insulator 20 and the first metal member 50. The first metal member 50 has an opening part 52 that makes the mounting parts visible from an outer surface of the first metal member 50 in a non-inserted state in which the object 70 to be connected is not inserted into the insertion part 23. The second metal member 60 has a shield part 61 that moves as the object 70 to be connected is inserted into the insertion part 23, and that overlaps the opening part 52 in an inserted state in which the object 70 to be connected is inserted into the insertion part 23.
