Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a liquid crystal aligning agent in which there is little occurrence of after-images derived from residual DC voltage and AC after-images, which can be easily reworked and which can form a liquid crystal alignment film having high transmittance. This liquid crystal alignment agent is characterized by containing a component (A) and a component (B). Component (A): A polymer (A) having a repeating unit represented by formula (1). Component (B): A polymer (B) having a repeating unit represented by formula (2) and a repeating unit represented by formula (3).
