Our invention provides a thin sheet for covering an optical semiconductor element. The optical semiconductor element can be easily formed with the color uniformity in different angular direction and an aesthetic appearance while not emitting light by using the thin sheet. The thin sheet for covering an optical semiconductor element (1) is directly or indirectly covering the optical semiconductor element (6), and includes a white layer (2) with white particles and a light diffusing layer (3) with light diffusing particles in the order along a direction of the thickness.
