The present invention proposes a method that can combine generative AI and individual enterprise search engines to generate relevance rankings for answers to specific well-intentioned questions, which includes providing a customer-owned system, receiving a first query from the customer-owned system, obtaining an answer corresponding to the first query from a generative AI server through the customer-owned system, wherein the generative AI server communicates with the customer-owned system via the Internet, returning the answer obtained by the generative AI server to the customer-owned system, and utilizing the answer as a second query to search in the customer-owned system, searching for documents correlated to the second query by the customer-owned system, and performing relevance ranking on the associated documents.
