The load control device (1) is provided with a display unit (111) having a screen (11a), and an operation unit (112) that is operated according to the control contents of an illumination instrument (21). The display unit (111) displays, on the screen (11a), an image corresponding to the operation of the operation unit (112) among a plurality of images belonging to any of two or more display modes. Each of the plurality of images includes information corresponding to the display mode of the image and information for switching to an image in another display mode.
