Zusammenfassung:	To provide a liquid crystal display device, a polarizing plate, and a polarizer protective film, whereby the occurrence of iridescent spots can be suppressed and visibility is improved even when a polyethylene terephthlalate resin film as a polarizer protective film as a constituent member of a polarizing plate is reduced in film thickness or is used in a liquid crystal display device configured for a wider color gamut. A polarizer protective film comprising a polyethylene terephthalate resin film, the polarizer protective film characterized in that the polyethylene terephthalate resin film satisfies conditions (1) and (2). (1): The polyethylene terephthalate resin film has a retardation of 3000 to 30000 nm. (2): The degree of alignment measured by X-ray diffraction of the (100) face of a crystal with respect to the film surface is 0.70 or less.
