Zusammenfassung:A vapor chamber 1, which is one embodiment of this heat spreading device, is provided with a casing 10, a working medium 20, and at least one wick 30. The wick 30 extends from a first end E1 to a second end E2. The wick 30 is constituted of a fiber bundle in which fibers F are bundled in a linear fashion. The first end E1 of the wick 30 is positioned in a first region R1 of the casing 10, and a section of the wick 30 excluding the first end E1 and the second end E2 is positioned in a second region R2 of the casing 10. The wick 30 has a first section P1 that contacts a first inner wall surface 11a and does not contact a second inner wall surface 12a in the first region R1, and has a second section P2 that contacts the first inner wall surface 11a and the second inner wall surface 12a in the second region R2.
