Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an optical laminate containing a protection film, a polarizing plate, a phase retardation layer, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer in this order, where the protection film satisfies the formula: [First modulus of elasticity]-[Second modulus of elasticity] ≥ 300 MPa. In the formula, the first modulus of elasticity refers a tensile modulus of elasticity in a direction orthogonal to an absorption axis of the polarizing plate measured at a temperature of 23 DEG C at a relative humidity of 55% RH, and the second modulus of elasticity refers a tensile modulus of elasticity in a direction parallel to the 10 absorption axis of the polarizing plate measured at a temperature of 23 DEG C at a relative humidity of 55% RH.
