Automatic guided vehicle positioning system and operating method thereof

The invention provides an automatic guided vehicle positioning system. The automatic guided vehicle positioning system comprises one or more positioning areas and an automatic guided vehicle. The positioning area is arranged on a ceiling or a wall or a goods shelf of the space, and the positioning area is provided with a positioning pattern. The automated guided vehicle includes a beam emitter, a beam receiver, and a processor. The light beam emitter is configured to emit a light beam to scan a localization area. The light beam receiver is arranged at a specific distance from the light beam emitter, wherein the light beam receiver receives light beams scattered by an area outside the corresponding positioning pattern of the positioning area and does not receive light beams retroreflected by the corresponding positioning pattern. The processor is configured to identify a corresponding positioning pattern according to the light beam received by the light beam receiver and the retro-reflected light beam which is
