For example, this panel transport robot comprises: a panel gripping unit 24 that grips display panels; and a travel mechanism that moves the panel gripping unit 24. The panel gripping unit 24 comprises: a panel suction unit 71 that suctions the display panel; and a wiring suction unit 72 that suctions the wiring pulled out from the display panel. In this panel transport robot, the panel suction unit 71 suctions and grips the display panel and the wiring suction unit 72 suctions and grips the wiring, when display panels are being transported.
