Zusammenfassung:	A water repellent fiber product manufacturing method includes a process of making at least one non-fluorine-based water repellent agent, which is selected from a group consisting of an acrylic water repellent, a silicone water repellent, and a dendrimer water repellent, be in contact with fiber including at least one functional group selected from a group formed with a monovalent group represented by -SO3M1 (In the formula, M1 represents a monovalent cation), a monovalent group represented by -COOM2 (In the formula, M2 represents a monovalent cation), and a monovalent group represented by -O-P(O)(OX1)(OX2) (In the formula, X1 and X2 respectively and independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 22 carbon atoms). The present invention is provided to obtain a water repellent fiber product having sufficient water repellency and sufficient durability.
