This method is for manufacturing an object coated with a coating substance R, said object being obtained from an object T to be coated having a flat part Tf which has formed therein a coating plane that is a flat surface and an end surface part Te which is contiguous to the flat part Tf and which has formed therein a coating end surface having a curved surface and/or a flat surface not parallel to the coating plane of the flat part Tf, said object having the coating plane and the coating end surface coated with the coating substance R.
