The refrigerator is provided with a refrigeration chamber (2), a decompression storage chamber (12) installed in the refrigeration chamber (2), and a decompression means for decompressing the decompression storage chamber (12), wherein the decompression means is provided with a vacuum pump (14) having no pressure detection means, and the vacuum pump (14) is operated for a predetermined time when there is a door open time from the opening to the closing of the doors (2a, 2b) of the refrigeration chamber for a predetermined time or more.
