Method for generating sewing control data for processing a sewing program,and sewing machine for carrying out the method

The invention relates to a method for generating sewing control data for processing a sewing program depending on a clothing size, comprising: sewing a plurality of successive seams of seam portions during the sewing program process, and firstly selecting a clothing base size; generating sewing control data for the base size, the sewing control data comprising lengths of the seam portions; generating sewing control data for other clothing sizes different from the base size; specifying a total grading value, the whole seams extending the total grading value for the successive clothing sizes; and calculating (and specifying) section grading values according to the total grading value, at least some seam portions respectively extending the section grading values for the successive clothing sizes. The results is that a generating method through which the sewing control data are better adapted to the different clothing sizes.
