Zusammenfassung:Provided is an air purifier such that air in a space can be moist and very comfortable while only using a single cup holder. This air purifier (1) can be placed in a cup holder and is equipped with an ion generator (23) generating active species for purifying air or an ion generating the active species. The air purifier (1) is also equipped with: a tank (31) in which water can be stored; a water absorption bar (32a) which absorbs water by immersing the lower end thereof into the water in the tank (31); and a mist generator (24) which is in contact with the upper end of the water absorption bar (32a) and generates mist.
