Zusammenfassung:	According to the present invention, a portable toilet (1) includes: a toilet body (10) having an opening portion (10a); a cover (14) configured to close the opening portion (10a) of the toilet body (10); an installment portion (20) installed in the cover (14); and a cover maintenance portion (30) installed in the toilet body (10) and configured to support the installment portion (20) such that the installment portion (20) can rotate. The cover maintenance portion (30) includes: a standing maintenance portion (42) configured to maintain the cover (14) at a standing location by being hanged to and fitted for a hanging and fitting portion (26) of the installment portion (20); and a rear guidance portion (44) configured to guide the hanging and fitting portion (26) when the cover (14) rotates backwards more than the standing location. Accordingly, the present invention can provide a portable toilet capable of smoothly opening or closing a cover.
