Zusammenfassung:	An object detection apparatus is provided. The object detection apparatus includes a plurality of light sensing modules and a processing module. Each light sensing module includes a capacitor, a charging and discharging circuit and a light sensing unit. The capacitor has a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the ground. The charging and discharging circuit is coupled to the second end to charge and discharge the capacitor. The light sensing unit with a sensing range is configured to receive the light and an effective resistance of the light sensing unit is responsive to the intensity of the light. The processing module is coupled to each capacitor to obtain a discharging time of each capacitor. And the processing module compares the discharging time of each capacitor with a reference time to determine whether an object is located at one of the sensing ranges of the light sensing units.
