Zusammenfassung:	A curved liquid crystal display device (100) includes a liquid crystal display panel (10), a backlight unit 50), a bottom cover (20) and a reinforcement frame (3, 30). The liquid crystal display panel (10) includes a thin film transistor substrate and a color filter substrate. The backlight unit (50) comprises an edg-mounted light source (80) that illuminates the liquid crystal display panel (10) from the side through a light guide (61). The bottom cover (20) supports the backlight unit (50) and has a flat shape before being mounted in the device. The reinforcement frame (3, 30) is formed by crossed reinforcement bars (31, 32) and has a predetermined curvature. The flat bottom cover (20) is mounted on the reinforcement frame (3, 30) such that the flat bottom cover (20) takes on the predetermined curvature of the reinforcement frame (3, 30).
