Zusammenfassung:	An image capturing apparatus and a method for adjusting a field in which to capture an image are provided for use with a vehicle. The apparatus comprises a support structure, an image capturing body, and a reacting element. The support structure includes a securing base to be secured to the vehicle, a connecting part connected to the image capturing body, and an orientation adjustment structure adjustable to change an orientation of the connecting part relative to the securing base. The image capturing body includes a processing unit configured to generate an event signal upon judging that the image does not conform with a predefined condition. And the reacting element is disposed on the support structure or the image capturing body and is configured to receive the event signal or be activated by the event signal.
