This invention provides an electronic device which enhances the accuracy the alignment of the positions of a card insertion slot and the card connector so as to ensure a smooth connection of a card with the card connector. The electronic device with card insertion slot of this invention has a main body 1 including an upper case 2, a lower case 3, and a front panel 4, a card insertion slot 5 provided on the front panel 4, a wiring board 20 accommodated in the main body and positioned and fixed on an upper surface of the lower case, a card connector 21 mounted on the wiring board, a first positioning boss 31 protruding from the lower case, and first positioning holes 41, 51 respectively formed on the wiring board and the front panel. The first positioning boss 31 and the first positioning holes 41, 51 are disposed underneath the insertion passage of an IC card to be inserted in the card insertion slot 5. A card connector 21 is disposed behind the first positioning hole 41 formed in the wiring board 20.
