The invention provides a combustion control method of a regenerative-combustion heat treatment furnace, wherein during the alternated switching of the combustion orpeation and the regerative operation of a pair of regenerative burners, the strong combustion at the beginging of the combustion of the regerative burner operated in the regenerative action is inhibited.
