Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a light-diffusing polyester film which exhibits excellent mechanical strength and has a good balance between total light transmittance and light diffusibility. The light-diffusing polyester film is free from curling that is caused by a high-temperature treatment. Specifically disclosed is a light-diffusing polyester film which has a three-layer structure wherein a light diffusion layer (B) is arranged on one surface of an intermediate layer (A) and a smooth layer (C) is arranged on the other surface of the intermediate layer (A), said three-layer structure being obtained by co-extrusion. The intermediate layer (A) is composed of a crystalline homopolyester or a crystalline polyester that contains a copolymerization component; the light diffusion layer (B) is composed of 50-99 parts by mass of a crystalline polyester that contains a copolymerization component and has a melting point of 225-255°C and 1-50 parts by mass of an additive that is incompatible with the polyester; and the smooth layer (C)
