Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns a thread leader for leading a current synthetic thread, which is formed from a helically trained guidance section with a guidance eye and an attachment section. The guidance section has an asymmetrical profile cross section with one according to invention possesses on one side the guidance eye turned roundness, so that with small thread leader width as large a contact area as possible is present for the guidance of the thread. Moreover, a thread leader carrier is described, with which several threads leader of one level are arranged parallel next to each other.
