Zusammenfassung:	The object of the invention is to provide a device for measuring the thickness of a steel plate of a vessel, which is capable of easily measuring the thickness even if an end plate portion of the vessel is formed by a curved surface of a spherical or a conical shape, such as in a reactor (reaction vessel), and a trunk portion of the vessel has various obstacles. The device is characterized in that: a supporting point member 20 is detachably provided as a supporting point set on the axis of a vessel end plate portion 1a of a reactor 1, and a traveling carrier 6 that travels on a steel plate of the vessel end plate portion 1a and on which ultrasonic probes 7 are mounted is connected to one end portion of a rotation radius-defining member 19 that is provided so as to be rotatable about the supporting point member 20.
