Zusammenfassung:	The subject invention provides a flat display device, which comprises a display panel (2), a frame (15) holding the display panel, and a frame-type bezel (31) fixed to the frame and holding the display panel on the frame. The bezel comprises: a front surface part (32) comprising an edge (33) on the border with the display area of the display panel, exposing the display area, and covering the first main surface of the display panel, a flank surface part (34) covering at least part of the flank surface of the frame, a rear surface part (44) elongated to at least part of the rear surface of the frame, a fixed part located in the rear surface part and fixed to the frame, and a stress relaxation part (41a) located near the shortest path (C) from the fixed part of the bezel to the edge, and relaxing the stress to estrange the front surface part from the display panel.
