Zusammenfassung: | A light guide panel whose structure is like a triangular prism is disclosed. This invention, unlike the traditional ones, does not use prism mirrors, diffusers, reflectors, or other optical devices arranged in a traditional backlight module, so the cost and the time of manufacture are reduced because arranging optical devices in a traditional backlight module is not convenient. The light sources are a traditional uncontrolled light source and a controlled parallel light source, and the lights are introduced from the light input surface of the light guide panel. Every emitted light at every light output is from the light guide panel whose structure is like a triangular prism. The light guide panel has a specially designed included angle making the light travel by total reflection or refraction. The distances of the central lines of the outputted lights are equal or smaller than the distances of the nearby apertures of a LCD panel. The controlled output lights are parallel to each other and emitted from the fixed positions. The controlled output lights are vertical to the base of the light guide panel and outputted through the apertures of the LCD panel. The uncontrolled lights are directed to the mirrors whose structure are like triangular prisms and directed to the apertures of the LCD panel. Before the energy of the lights is captured or directed, most of the lights are repeatedly and totally reflected in this invented light guide panel, so the energy of the lights is efficiently used. The brightness of LCD is increased, so the display quality of the LCD is increased. The power consuming is decreased, so the life of the battery is extended. |
