A conductive reflection film 2, covering at least a display region 3, is provided on a first board 1 of a pair of boards 1 and 31, having electrodes 7 and 7 of at least prescribed patterns disposed oppositely via a liquid crystal layer 45 and on the surface of the liquid crystal layer 45 side. On the first board 1, the ratio S2/S1 of an area S1 of the film 2 to an area S2 of the part not superposed with the film 2 of the electrode 7 is set to 0.0018 or less.
