The present invention solves the object by providing an antiarthropathic agent comprising an amino sugar and trehalose as effective ingredients. The amino sugar is glucosamine, mannosamine, or glycosaminoglycan which is one or more members selected from the group consisting of chondroitin sulfate, chondroitin, dermatan sulfate, heparin, heparan sulfate, keratan sulfate, and hyaluronic acid.
