Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A residue detecting system is provided. A switch (30b) is open when a control signal ST represents the machine body is in standby mode. Therefore, power supplied to a current detecting circuit (30) is stopped so as to shut down the current detecting circuit (30). A residue arithmetic microcomputer (31) cannot calculate discharge current (I) flowed power line (16) when shutting down the current detecting circuit (30), so it uses a prestored presumptive current data (I') as a current to do the calculation of the battery residue. The present invention does not retard the correct calculation of the battery residue and performs decrease of the power consumption.
