Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides an apparatus and method for cleaning a spacer tape capable of making the apparatus compact and speeding up processing and drying the tape uniformly. The cleaning apparatus according to the present invention is used to clean a conveyed-continuously and used-over tape; it comprises a cleaning room disposed upstream, a drying room disposed at a downstream side of the cleaning room, cleaning nozzles installed in the cleaning room and used for spraying cleaning fluid on to the surface of the tape passed through the cleaning room and fluid-removal means disposed in the drying room and used for blowing away the cleaning fluid attached on the surface of the spacer tape that is cleaned in the cleaning room and then passed through the drying room.
