Zusammenfassung:	A method of controlling signal transmission in a local area network. The network includes a transmission end and at least a receiving end. The method includes packaging quality of service (QoS) control signals into a QoS control packet based on RTCP/TCP/IP protocol; packaging multimedia data stream based on the RTP/UDP/IP; sending the packaged multimedia data stream from the transmission end to the at least a receiving end; sending the packaged QoS control packet from the transmission end to each receiving end; and de-packaging the packaged QoS control packet to the QoS control signals for checking the transmission status for the multimedia data stream.
