Distributed process for synchronizing the delivery of data from multiple web servers

A method, system and program of delivering data across a computer network, by issuing a request for an electronic document, from a client to a main server, using a first communications path, and chronologically synchronizing transmission of at least one object forming the electronic document, wherein the synchronization is accomplished using a second communications path between the main server and a secondary server which stores at least one other of the electronic document objects. The second communications path has a transmission speed which is faster than a transmission speed of the first communications path. The synchronizing may be accomplished by chronologically ordering two or more of the electronic document objects. Synchronization information can be embedded within a primary file associated with the electronic document.
