A method for displaying frame of list menu in electronic document and system thereof can be applied to be loaded to a computer platform to conduct a specific processing on data stream of electronic document with a specific format in the computer platform so as to display the frame of list menu in electronic document on computer screen, allowing user to proceed specific operation toward those frames of list menus. It is also featured by adopting a set of pre-defined special characters as the positioning characters of empty frame to obtain the coordinates and geometric parameters of each empty frame accordingly, and further storing all empty frames, coordinates and geometric parameters in a data buffer, making computer platform proceed empty frame searching process whenever it needs. Such feature makes the display procedure of listmenu frame much faster and more efficient.
