A method and apparatus of capturing images, which is to capture images according to the predetermined characteristic markup position of the image being captured, said method comprises: to set-up at least a characteristic markup position, said characteristic markup position is the deformation recognition position of making the image action picture; overlap the predetermined characteristic markup with the characteristic of the image being captured to capture said image; and save said image so that the stored image could be in correspondence with the predetermined characteristic markup position which could make moving pictures according to the image captured and stored and the coordination value of said predetermined characteristic markup position. An apparatus of capturing images which main structure comprises: a capture image window module which is used to capture the images; a characteristic markup module which is used to display the predetermined characteristic markup position; a view-finding image module which is used to preview the images being captured and display the predetermined characteristic markup position for view finding to be overlapped on said predetermined characteristic markup position of the image; and a storage memory module which is used to save the coordination value of characteristic markup position and the images.
