The present invention is an intelligent traffic system using wireless communication between signal post and automotive device for car speed collection, which uses the wireless communication method to communicate with the automotive device and calculate the car speed with the distance between two signal posts and communication time difference, and by transmitting the car speed information through the road-side signal post to the traffic information center for real-time reflecting the road conditions of each highway, so that the drivers can choose other alternatives when driving on the sections occurring accidents or traffic jam to save the time. Moreover, the present invention can be used to determine the level of traffic jam for the section, so as to automatically control the operation time ratio at the intersection or at the entry of the freeway, and flexibly evacuate the vehicles on jammed sections. Thus, the roads can get the maximum benefits with the least investment.
