Zusammenfassung: | A method of authorising a key or lock device follows the following steps. First, a key or lock is provided with an electronic circuitry with an associated memory. Then, a first encryption key (KDES-M, KDES-D, KDES-C, KDES) is stored in the memory. By means of a software operation, the first encryption key stored in said electronic memory is replaced by a second encryption key. This second encryption key is identical to an encryption key stored in a second user device, thereby making said first and second user devices work with each other. This provides for a secure way of distributing keys or locks. |
