Zusammenfassung: | Process for the preparation of anhydrous, highly pure sodium sulfide with a content of at least 98 wt.% Na2S by drying water-containing sodium sulfide, wherein the water-containing sodium sulfide is heated with an organic solvent which is not water-miscible to 10 DEG to 20 DEG C below the melting point of the water-containing sodium sulfide, heated up in stages with temperature stages of 1 DEG to 10 DEG C and holding times of 5 to 15 minutes to 10 DEG to 20 DEG C above the melting point of the water-containing sodium sulfide, and heated up to the boiling point of the water-solvent mixture, and the water of crystallization is distilled off by azeotropic distillation in vacuo or under pressure. |
