Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides an opt thermal-type waveguide switch, comprising: a multimode waveguide provided with an input port on one end and a first and a second output ports on the other end; and a heating film formed on the side end of the multimode waveguide; in which outputting a signal from the first output port in an intervening manner according to self imaging property when no heating conducted by the heating film on the multimode waveguide and after a signal is inputted to the multimode waveguide, while outputting a signal from the second output port in a linear manner when there is heating conducted by the heating film on the multimode waveguide.
