Zusammenfassung:	A tread pattern (10) for a vehicle tire is described including at least one circumferentially extending longitudinal groove (15, 16, 17) and transverse grooves (18, 19, 20, 21) emanating from said circumferentially extending longitudinal groove (15, 16, 17) for defining blocks (22, 23, 24, 25, 26) in the pattern and comprising sipes (28, 30) arranged in the tread pattern extending in their depth extent from the pattern face (26a) in the direction of the pattern base (26b). For defining blocks of adequate stiffness it is provided for in accordance with the invention that at least one of the sipes (30) arranged in at least one of the blocks (26) is configured V-shaped.
