Process for hot repairing of the hot flues of a coke furnace battery and device for practising this process

A process for hot repairing of the hot flues of a coke furnace, in which during the bricking-up of the hot flues a heating of the readily finished sections of each flue is already effected by means of heated gas, wherein the air normally existing in the hot flues in the coking operation for the combustion is used, and this air is lead through the flowing path existing in the coke-furnace-battery for the combusting air and for the waste gas, including through the regenerator, and thus heated up, and then lead through the hot flues which are to be repaired, wherein the readily bricked part of the hot flues is separated from the part of the hot flues which is still to be bricked-up by an air-reversing device.
