Zusammenfassung:	A process is provided to stabilize and/or reactivate an olefin production catalyst system which comprises contacting an olefin production catalyst system, either before or after use, with an aromatic compound. A process for the trimerization ethylene comprising reacting an ethylene reactant in the presence of a catalyst system comprising a chromium source, a pyrrolecontaining compound selected from pyrrole, a pyrrolide, 2,5-dimethyl pyrrole and 2,5-dimethyl pyrrolide and a non-hydrolyzed alkyl aluminum compound; forming trimerization reaction products; and passing said trimerization reaction products to at least one separator wherein said separator is for separating desired trimerization reaction products from said trimerization reaction products.
